The Lemon Twigs announce new album ‘Look For Your Mind!’ and 2026 tour dates

The Lemon Twigs have announced a new album, Look For Your Mind!, dropping on May 8 via Captured Tracks.

The brother-brother duo Brian and Michael D'Addario have also released the lead single "I Just Can't Get Over Losing You" along with a music video, which you can watch below:

The new track features a sudden bridge and other turns in the structure of the tune: “Every time we try to write something that's completely straightforward, we can't help adding an element which comes out of left field. We always want to write a song we’ve never heard before,” chuckles Brian.

It's not all sunshine and rainbows. Beneath the pop guitars, soaring harmonies, and melisma, the follow-up to A Dream Is All We Know has a backdrop of suspicion and paranoia. “I do think that now is a time of insanity,” Brian says. “You really have to hold onto your own mind if you don’t wanna lose it.”

For previous albums, Brian and Michael handled everything in the studio themselves. Look For Your Mind! is the first time live members drummer Reza Matin and bassist Danny Ayala, as well as Eva Chambers of Tchotchke, are part of the studio recording.

“Seven of the tunes were just Michael and I. 'Nothin’ But You' and ‘I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You’ had Eva joining us on bass and vocals, like on the single earlier this year. The rest of the tracks had Reza on drums, with Danny joining in on ‘Bring You Down’ and ‘You’re Still My Girl.’ They helped us finally capture that vital live sound on record.”

In support of the album, they're doing a 2026 Spring and Summer tour with shows in the US, Canada, the UK, and Ireland. Check the dates down below.
