Lady Gaga debuts new song at FireAid benefit

Lady Gaga closed out the FireAid benefit concert in Los Angeles tonight, performing two of her hit singles from behind the piano, "Shallow" and "Always Remember Us This Way".

A third song, however, was written and performed especially for this night by Lady Gaga and her fiance Michael Polansky aiming to bring some hope to the evening. Gaga explained:

"When I was thinking about what to sing tonight, I thought I wanted to do something hopeful for you. And I was thinking about my songs, and there wasn't anything that seemed quite right. So me and my friend Michael, my fiance, my love, we wrote this song for you. It's just for tonight, it's just for you. I think we all need a lot of things right now. But I think what we also need right now is time. Time is a healer."
