With the recent release of Mayhem, Lady Gaga has announced an arena tour across North America and Europe (set to start after her top-billing spot at Coachella in April). She revealed the news along with a statement posted on social media:
"I wasn’t planning to tour this year after my shows in Singapore but the incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going. It came together super quickly thanks to Arthur Fogel and the amazing team at Live Nation, who planned a global tour in just a few weeks."
Gaga mentions that the decision to move from stadiums to arena is in favor of a big spectacle she has in mind: "We chose arenas this time to give me the opportunity to control the details of the show in a way you simply can’t in stadiums—and honestly, I can’t wait. This show is designed to be the kind of theatrical and electrifying experience that brings MAYHEM to life exactly how I envision it," she wrote.
The foray kicks off on July 16, with multiple nights in Las Vegas, and stops in Seattle, New York, Miami, Toronto, and Chicago. The jaunt will also come to London, Manchester, Milan, Berlin, and more European cities before wrapping up in Paris on November 20.
General tickets go on sale on April 3 at 12pm local time for both European and North American dates; various pre-sales start on Monday, March 31. You can sign-up for NA Artist pre-sale beginning April 12 at 12pm local time here. Check-out all the dates for the tour below:
