The sequel to Kylie Minogue's hit 2023 album Tension drops in three weeks' time, featuring nine brand new songs plus previously released collaborations with Tove Lo and Bebe Rexha, Orville Peck and Diplo, Sia, and The Blessed Madonna. "Lights Camera Action" is the first of the new songs to drop, re-teaming Minogue with "Padam Padam" co-writer Ina Wroldsen. Producer Lewis Thompson is also credited as a co-writer.
The single release comes with a dazzling new video featuring multiple Kylies, plus a storming remix from fellow Australians Confidence Man. An extended mix of the original track and two additional remixes by Zach Witness and JACONDA are also included.

Earlier this week, Minogue added two extra dates to the UK leg of her Tension world tour. She'll play a second show in Manchester on 20 May and a third show in London on 2 June. She also added three new shows to her Australian leg of the tour, which kicks off in February. Tickets for the UK shows went on general sale this morning.
In other news, the nominees for Australia's ARIA Awards have been announced, with Minogue in the running for five trophies including Album of the Year, Best Pop Release and Best Independent Release for Tension, Song of the Year for the title track, and Best Solo Artist. It's the highest number awards that Minogue has been nominated for since the Fever era in 2002.
The ARIA Awards take place on 20 November in Sydney, and you can see the full list of nominees – including fellow Album of the Year contenders Troye Sivan, Royal Otis, Amy Shark, and Angie McMahon – here.
