The California nu-metal pioneers Korn have announced a long-awaited European headlining tour, their first full run across the continent in over a decade. The 19-date trek kicks off October 18 in Stuttgart, Germany, setting the tone for a month of shows that will snake through major cities before closing out November 21 in Milan, Italy.
After the opening German run, the tour hits Paris before heading to the United Kingdom and Ireland. From there, Korn loop back into mainland Europe with stops in the Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, and Italy.
Joining them on the road will be a diverse trio of support acts: British metalcore heavyweights Architects, the industrial-charged duo Youth Code, and synth-driven darkwave outfit Pixel Grip.
Before Europe, Korn will be busy further south. The band heads to South America in May for another run of shows, with rising metal act Spiritbox providing support. They’re also set to appear as one of the marquee acts at the Sick New World in Las Vegas this April, a fitting stage for a band that helped define an entire era of heavy music.
Meanwhile, longtime bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu remains absent from the band’s touring lineup. Fieldy stepped away from the road in June 2021 to focus on personal healing after, as he put it at the time, falling back into some “bad habits.” Filling the role live has been Roberto "Ra" Díaz of Suicidal Tendencies, who has been holding down the low end ever since.
Despite his absence from the stage, Fieldy did contribute to Korn’s most recent studio effort, Requiem, released in February 2022.
