Alternative pop artist Kinneret has announced that her upcoming album Field Guide will release on October 24th under Tiny Harp LLC.

Of the new single, Kinneret says, "[It's] about inspiration, and how fleeting it feels. I wrote the song from inspiration’s perspective, imagining it as a person teasing me like, ‘I’ve been here the whole time! You’re the one pushing me away!’”

Birding proved to be a valuable inspiration for Kinneret on this record. She says, ". “Birds live in the wild for maybe two years. They look for food and build nests and have kids. They just follow their instincts. I crave that so much in my life. Birding reminds me that I’m an animal — It just totally gets me out of my head.”

She goes on, including about how her grandfather helped create some of the visuals for the album:

I can’t wait for you to get lost in this world I’ve been building for two years. The cover photo is a mixed-media diorama with bird sculptures made by my grandpa, plants foraged from his home, real taxidermy, porcelain birds, and more.
