King Crimson supergroup BEAT announce live album

King Crimson alumni Adrian Belew and Tony Levin have allied with Steve Vai and Danny Carey of Tool to form BEAT, a band dedicated to playing the '80s discography of the prog legends. After extensive touring, a live album will document some of their incendiary re-interpretations – Beat Live will be out on September 26th through InsideOut Music & Sony.

Subtitled Neon Heat Disease, the release showcases their performance in Los Angeles, while a limited edition boasts an additional 12-track "live in North America" CD. The Blu-Ray contains live footage and interviews with the band members.
