Last night, Kesha shared the music video for her polka-EDM track “JOYRIDE”. Directed and written by Laura Gorun, Dimitri Basil, and Cooper Roussel, the pop star stars as Mother, and finds herself on the run in a desert car chase. Kesha also boasts co-directing credits. Watch the video below:
Alongside the video’s premiere, the artist also announced a new single, titled “DELUSIONAL”, which drops on Black Friday.
In the “JOYRIDE” video, a bodybuilder named Derk Delusional pursues Kesha, seemingly referencing this next single. Many have noted that the single art for “DELUSIONAL” (which features Hermès Birkin bags laid out on a street, tagged with the song’s title), appears to be AI-generated, due to misspellings of “delusional” as “dellusonal.”
“DELUSIONAL” will be Kesha’s next solo release after being featured on Charli XCX’s remix of “Spring breakers” and performing the track at the Sweat Tour in October. In 2025, she’s slated for headline shows and festival appearances in Australia and the United Kingdom, and is expected to announce more tour dates soon. Check out the tour dates below.
