Today, R&B auteur Kelela announced her fifth studio album, New Avatar. It's due out July 10th via Warp Records.

With the announcement comes the single "linknb," which follows up last month's "idea 1."

In a Rolling Stone interview last year, Kelela teased a new record that'd harken to her roots in metal music. The guitars are certainly present in both of these singles, but it's yet to be known how heavy she's willing to get.
