Get ready for some "karaoke therapy" as British singer/songwriter and GLOW actress Kate Nash takes her recent Kill Rock Stars album 9 Sad Symphonies out on her first US tour in 6 years, kicking off at Philadelphia's World Cafe on 10 October.

Support on various tour stops will come from Shamir, Skating Polly, Revenge Wife, and Joh Chase, with an as-yet-uannounced special guest for Nash's NYC show on 12 October. Each night will have a dedicated slot where fans will be invited to go up on stage and sing, "and hopefully make some new friends along the way."

Says Nash in a press release:

“It’s been 6 years since I toured North America and I can’t wait to reconnect with my fans out there. I’m very excited to be doing my first US tour dates as a US Citizen. I’ll definitely be voting in the upcoming election, there are so many important issues to make a stand for. I care so deeply about women’s sexual health rights and my trans friends and community. It’s so important to come together during these heightened times, to have a safe space to listen to music and to blow off some steam. I hope my shows can be a place of release & joy amidst the chaos.”

The US tour will be followed by a European trek with support from Connie Constance. An additional London show has been added for 9 April next year.
