Kassa Overall, the Grammy-nominated jazz prodigy, has announced his fourth LP, CREAM, will be out September 12 via Warp.

With this release, Overall set out to pay homage to jazz drumming à la Elvin Jones and hip-hop in equal measure. The eight instrumentals twist classic examples of the latter genre with a healthy dosage of mind-bending from the former.

Overall stresses in a press release that this project is as pure as it gets. "No edits, no overdubs, no samples or drum machines. Just a great group of musicians playing together," the man confirms.
