Justin Trudeau’s son Xavier set to release "dark ambient R&B" single

The day has finally come: Justin Trudeau's eldest son, Xavier, is set to release his debut single.

The track, titled "Til The Nights Done", is slated for release on February 21 via Pathway Music Group. Joey Boyer, co-founder of the label, has described the upcoming single as capturing a “dark ambient R&B” sound, along with “a hint of ballads.”

Xavier teased the track on Instagram, alongside a fragmented black-and-white video showing the 17-year-old crooner walking through the streets of Ottawa.

You can check out the post below:

The snippet is brief, yet it showcases Xavier seemingly taking advantage of his father’s 2018 cannabis legalization, singing, "We can roll one / We can smoke one." Here's hoping Xavier is talking about "smoking one" in the future, as Canada's legal age for marijuana consumption is 19.

While Xavier’s career is still in its early stages, it will be exciting to see if he can establish himself alongside Canada’s R&B-pop titans, The Weeknd and Drake. Either way, it’ll be thrilling to watch his journey unfold.
