Just Mustard return with new track "POLLYANNA" and accompanying video

Noisy, atmospheric Irish band Just Mustard have returned with new single "POLLYANNA", via Partisan. Their first new material since 2022's Heart Under, the track melds hazy guitars, driving, saturated drums, and dreamlike vocals to convey "beauty in contradiction."

It's a first taste of their anticipated third record, due out later this year. They've also announced an intimate New York show on Tuesday, September 9th at National Sawdust, amidst their other dates.

Vocalist Katie Ball, who directed the accompanying video, had this to say:

We shot the video using different CCTV and VHS cameras around our hometown Dundalk trying to have as much fun as possible, the kind of fun that makes you feel sick almost instantly, which suits the themes of the song.

The band are playing a string of shows across Europe, the UK, and the US in August and September:

08/16 Brecon Beacons, UK @ Green Man Festival
830 Stradbally, IE @ Electric Picnic
9/6 - 9/7 Boston, MA @ Seisiún Festival

9/19 Hamburg, DE @ Reeperbahn Festival
9/22 Berlin, DE @ Privatclub
