In the lead up to the September 25th release of her albun The Gem, Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin has shared "I Wish," the album's closer.

This comes on the heels of The Gem's lead single "Get Away From Me (I Think I'll Love You Soon)," which released last month. "I Wish" features Australian sister duo The Maes on vocal harmonies, with Jacklin delivering a touching letter to her younger self: "I got through, yeah I’ll be fine / Still I wish someone at been there at the time," she reflects on the refrain.
