LA's John Errol announced a new album called Damage, out October 30th via his own imprint Stupidity Tries. It's Errol's first full-length since 2021's Inferno.

Errol also released a new single, the eight-minute slow-burn "Shifting Sands." Listen here:

Damage is entirely written, performed, mixed, and mastered by Errol. "Shifting Sands" follows the record's lead, "Float," which came out in August. Errol had this to say about the new track:

"A lot of this record is obsessed with the past, how it mangles the present, and the stories we tell ourselves about it. Shifting Sands' is about being cast as the villain in someone else's story when you're denied the chance to tell your own. I wrote it driving home on the 10 one night, screaming into my phone like a voicemail I never got to leave. Am I the villain or the victim? Probably both."
