American rapper JID strikes again with “31 (Freestyle)”, his second entry in the freestyle series this year after “30 (Freestyle)” - released on 1 January - and his third overall with 2022’s “29 (Freestyle)”. The track is accompanied by a music video shot in Saudi Arabia featuring Arabic lyrics in a similar fashion to the music video for “30 (Freestyle)” which was recorded in Warsaw, Poland.
The song is produced by Hollywood Cole, who also worked on “Sistanem” from JID’s latest album, The Forever Story, which saw the light of day two years ago. The hunger for a new LP is starting to build among fans, but luckily, the rapper teased in a now-deleted X post that aside from the recently dropped freestyle, another song titled “Killers” - an unreleased track which JID performed live at his digital concert in 2020 - is coming out this month.
Moreover, he responded to a fan on X who posted the lyrics to “Through The Sky” – another unreleased song he performed at the same concert – by telling him “coming for uuuuuuu,” teasing a potential official release of it.
Additionally, fans could be in for another freestyle sooner than expected, as JID recently wrote “32:)” on X, suggesting a possible fourth entry in the prolific rapper’s series.
32:)
