Jessie Ware shares new single, "Ride"

The latest teaser track from Jessie Ware's new album, Superbloom, is out now. The UK alternative pop artist and nu-disco powerhouse released "Ride," a song that she first previewed live in 2024.

Listen below:

"Ride" is a spaghetti-western-inspired disco jam, with its main synthline sampling Ennio Morricone's theme from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. In a recent press release, Ware shares her inspiration and process behind this song's evolution.

"‘Ride’ was the first song I wrote for this record. I made it in 2024 with my best friend Jack Peñate and Karma Kid, who feature throughout the album. It’s a song for the clubs, for the dancefloor—fun, cinematic, cheeky, and powerful. I first performed it at NYC Downlow at Glastonbury after headlining West Holts, and I’ve been waiting two years to finally put it out. I know others have been waiting too… So here it is. You’re welcome."

Following up on the momentum of her last single, "I Could Get Used To This," Ware is reveling in the new age of disco and synthpop, and her new album hopes to be another helping of those sounds she crafted on What's Your Pleasure? and her last full-length, 2023's That! Feels Good!

Jessie Ware's newest album, Superbloom, is out April 10th via Interscope. Pre-save here.
