Jessie Murph announces new album 'Sex Hysteria'

Rising trap country singer Jessie Murph has announced release details for her upcoming sophomore effort Sex Hysteria, due out July 18 via Colombia Records.

According to a press release, the 15-track album is "a bold departure" from 2024's That Ain’t No Man That’s The Devil, that "dives headfirst into uncharted territory — opening up about themes of sexuality, generational trauma and self-discovery with a vulnerability and honesty that marks a new chapter in her artistic evolution."

Murph debuted Sex Hysteria's lead single "Touch Me Like A Gangster" this past weekend at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Show in Miami. The song will get an official release this Friday, June 6.

Murph dropped a teaser trailer for her new album Tuesday, June 3, where she's sporting a retro '60s beehive hairdo while smoking a blunt.

“Hey, baby. Now I know we ain’t been talkin’ for too long, but there are some things I feel like you just don’t know about me,” she says in the 25-second clip, while blowing out cigarette smoke and looking down the camera lens as she asks, “You wanna know a secret?”

Sex Hysteria is now available for pre-order on multiple formats, including vinyl and CD. Pick up your own copy when the album drops at this location.

Earlier this year, Murph made her Coachella debut before surprise appearances at Stagecoach during performances by Jelly Roll, Koe Wetzel, and Diplo. Her forthcoming touring plans involve a world tour hitting major cities across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, in support of Sex Hysteria.

Murph's tour kicks off July 27 at the Arizona Financial Center in Phoenix before the US leg wraps September 27 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Tickets are on sale here, and you can check out the full tour itinerary below:
