After years of speculation, Jenna Ortega has finally confirmed what fans have long suspected: “I love Death Grips.”

During a recent Vogue interview called "Inside Jenna Ortega's Bag", Ortega kicks things off by pulling out a well-worn Death Grips cap. “First item, it’s my Death Grips hat — that probably needs a wash,” she says.

The Wednesday star goes on to address the recent rumors about the industrial rap trio breaking up. “We thought that they broke up, but they didn’t. I think they’re still going,” Ortega said, echoing MC Ride and the band’s dismissal of the speculation as “hearsay.”

Ortega then shared a story about seeing the group live in London:

“I think I was shooting for Dior, and I called my castmate, who was playing my love interest at the time. I was trying to get to know him, so I took him to a Death Grips show — but I don’t think he listened to Death Grips. He was really confused by all the headbanging. It was the sweatiest venue I’ve ever been to in my life. Like, everyone was sleek.”

Fans have often speculated that Ortega is a Death Grips fan, spotting her in the group’s merch and and at shows. Now, with her tackling the subject head-on, it seems we can finally put this debate to rest.

Ortega is currently promoting the second season of the Netflix series Wednesday, which features Lady Gaga, who has also written new music for the show.
