Jay-Z to celebrate 'Reasonable Doubt' and 'The Blueprint' anniversaries with back-to-back Yankee Stadium shows

Jay-Z is gearing up for a monumental summer, celebrating the legacies of two of his most iconic albums with consecutive shows at Yankee Stadium.

On July 10, he’ll mark the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt, his debut that cemented him as a force in hip-hop. The following night, July 11, he’ll honor the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint, the classic that many consider his magnum opus. The shows confirm months of speculation that Jay-Z has been quietly plotting milestone moments tied to these career-defining records.

This announcement comes on the heels of his recently confirmed appearance at the 2026 Roots Picnic on May 30, where he’ll headline alongside the legendary Roots. It’ll be his first full performance in nearly a year since he made a surprise appearance during Beyoncé’s final international date of her Cowboy Carter tour in Paris. Fans will also witness a rare reunion, as Jay-Z and the Roots share the stage together for the first time in over a decade. Tickets available here.

In recent weeks, the rapper has been dropping subtle hints about the anniversaries. Streaming platforms now list him as JAŸ-Z, echoing the stylization he used on Reasonable Doubt. He also made waves by re-releasing the original version of “Dead Presidents” on streaming services and unveiling the video for “Wishing on a Star” featuring Gwen Dickey on YouTube.

Amid all this, rumors of a new Jay-Z album have swirled. Several collaborators teased the possibility in interviews, only for rapper Cash Cobain to backtrack on his claim, with Jay-Z reportedly insisting he’s “absolutely not dropping an album” anytime soon. For now, it seems the focus is firmly on honoring the classics, and giving fans two nights at Yankee Stadium they won’t forget.

Ticket information for the Yankee Stadium shows has not been made available.
