Jay Weinberg lists drum kits, stage-worn Slipknot masks, and more for sale on Reverb

Jay Weinberg, one of rock’s most versatile drummers, is opening up his Reverb shop for a one-of-a-kind sale starting March 18th. Fans and musicians alike will have the chance to snag drum kits, snares, cymbals, and stage memorabilia, some of it straight from his time with Slipknot and the E Street Band.

Even better, a portion of the proceeds will go to MusiCares, the nonprofit supporting musicians with health services, addiction recovery, and financial aid.

The collection spans Weinberg’s eclectic career. Drum kits from his Slipknot years sit alongside outfits and masks worn during his tenure in the band, offering a rare peek behind the mask of one of modern metal’s most visually iconic acts. There are also treasures from his time supporting Bruce Springsteen, as well as gear tied to his stints in Suicidal Tendencies, Against Me!, Madball, and Hesitation Wounds.

Collectors and players will particularly love the kits. One, a collaboration with SJC Custom Drums and tattoo artist Thomas Hooper, was used throughout the We Are Not Your Kind tour. Another, hand-painted by Weinberg himself, boasts a riotous multi-color balloon design and cheekily dubbed the “Pokemon Vomit” kit. Originally created for his time with Against Me!, it saw a second life more than a decade later on a European tour with Suicidal Tendencies.

Drumheads are also up for grabs, many annotated with the exact songs they were used on during We Are Not Your Kind sessions, giving fans a tangible connection to the music. For those more digitally inclined, there’s even a Roland V-Drum electronic kit used in writing both We Are Not Your Kind and material that would later appear on The End, So Far.

Earlier this year, Weinberg quietly exited Suicidal Tendencies after two years, but this sale shows he’s far from slowing down, and gives fans a chance to own a piece of drumming history.
