Jason Isbell announces new solo album 'Foxes in the Snow', shares first single "Bury Me"

Alt-country singer/songwriter Jason Isbell has announced new album Foxes in the Snow. His first album without his band The 400 Unit since 2015's Something More than Free, the new record is out March 7 via Southeastern Records.

The news comes with the release of first single, "Bury Me". Listen below:

Foxes in the Snow was recorded at Electric Lady in New York in October of last year, and features songs that were recorded entirely on his "all-mahogany 1940 Martin 0-17 acoustic guitar," across only five days.

Additionally, Isbell will be headed out on a solo tour in Europe and the US, starting in February. Afterwards, he will continue onto an expansive tour of the US (with various guests) before moving over to Australia for some shows in August and September supporting Paul Kelly. Find all dates below.

Recently, Isbell added "actor" to his resume. He was seen in a costarring role in Martin Scrosese's epic Killers of the Flower Moon alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, and Robert De Niro. He will next have a role in RZA's upcoming One Spoon of Chocolate.
