Jared Leto has been accused of sexual impropriety by nine women, some of whom say they were minors at the time, according to a new exposé by Air Mail.
The women claim the 53-year-old actor and musician was repeatedly inappropriate with them, with the Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman and Fight Club actor asking sexual questions to minors and walking around naked.
In a statement to Air Mail, a representative for Leto "expressly" denied all allegations, and his reps did not immediately respond to other requests for comment by other publications.
Among the allegations featured in the report, a woman named Laura La Rue – who was a 16-year-old model when she first met Leto in 2008 – said he flirted with her and walked around nude "like it was normal" when she was 17.
"I thought maybe this was just what adult men do," she said in the report.
One of Leto's reps told Air Mail that their "communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate" and that La Rue "later applied to work as Mr. Leto’s personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions."
La Rue denied applying for the position, according to the report.
A second woman said she began texting the actor before she turned 18, claiming he asked her, "Do any of the little boys you hang out with fuck you?”
Other women claim Leto asked for their phone numbers, including one who said she was 16 years old when he first began texting her in 2006.
One woman said their communication quickly "turned sexual. He’d ask things like, 'Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a dick?'"
Air Mail, a newsletter started by former employees of Vanity Fair and The New York Times, reported that stories of Leto being a creep surfaced last month when DJ Allie Teilz reposted a 2012 Facebook status on her Instagram Stories, writing she was "assaulted and traumatized by (Leto) when I was 17."
One of Leto's reps told the outlet that her allegations are also "demonstrably false."
