Jack White completes pilgrimage to every Major League Baseball stadium

Idiosyncratic rocker and record ambassador Jack White is an outspoken baseball fan. He's a part-owner of Warstic, a baseball bat manufacturer, and composed "Battle Cry", a nifty slice of walk-up music for player Ian Kinsler. Now, he's notched a new feather in his baseball-loving cap: White has seen a baseball game at every MLB stadium in the country.

Writing on Instagram (post below), White announced the achievement after watching a game in Philadelphia on August 2, which saw his beloved Detroit Tigers take on the Phillies. Citizens Bank Park hosted the match, which the Tigers won.

White then got into technicalities, asking if he and his baseball-loving compatriots should attend a game at the temporary Tampa Bay Rays stadium; they had previously witnessed an event at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento, the impermanent home of the Athletics.
