J. Cole's debut mixtape is now available to stream, alongside new "audio series"

As J. Cole continues the seemingly endless build-up to his potentially-final album, The Fall Off, he has officially made his debut mixtape, The Come Up, Vol. 1, available on all streaming platforms as of 18 November. This release coincides with the announcement of his new "audio series," which many might dare to call... a podcast.

Inevitable promises to take fans on a 10-episode journey through the creation of each of Cole’s projects, starting with his debut mixtape. With conversations between Cole and longtime collaborator Ibrahim Hamad, plus input from director Scott Lazer, the series offers rare insights into his artistic evolution, including unreleased music from his archives.

As for The Come Up, Vol. 1, the mixtape reintroduces listeners to a young Cole still refining his sound while heavily influenced by rap icons like JAY-Z and Kanye West. With both the mixtape and podcast now available, fans get a unique, behind-the-scenes experience of J. Cole’s rise to fame as he teases what could be the final act of his career.

You can officially listen to The Come Up, Vol. 1 on your favorite streaming service, including Apple and Spotify.
