Iron & Wine has announced a new album, Hen's Teeth, which is out 2/27 on Sub Pop, his quick return from 2024's Grammy-nominated Light Verse. The new LP being called a "sister album" to that one.

The surprisingly bouncy first single "In Your Ocean" is out now and you can watch the video as well below:

Of the album title, Beam says:

"To me it suggests the impossible. Hen's teeth do not exist. And that's what this record felt like: A gift that shouldn’t be there but it is. An impossible thing but it's real."

Hen's Teeth has two collaborations featuring I'm With Her (Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz and Aoife O'Donovan) and features all the same players as its predecessor: David Garza, dynamite bass man Sebastian Steinberg, Beth Goodfellow, Tyler Chester, Griffin Goldsmith, Kyle Crane, and Paul Cartwright.
