Introducing Hot Dog Harv: the kid in a hot dog suit and cowboy hat spoofing Chappell Roan songs

It’s been a while since we’ve had a parody act that really hits. The 80s and 90s had Weird Al, the early 2000s had The Lonely Island, and now there's been a hole for a bit now. Maybe it was a hot-dog-sized hole, because now we’ve got Hot Dog Harv.

Harv takes Chappell Roan songs and reworks the lyrics into hot dog anthems, and the kicker is, he’s actually got serious vocal chops, making the whole thing lightning in a bottle. Harvey Hoops, aka Hot Dog Harv, first popped up on social media earlier this year with his parody of “Hot To Go!”, appropriately renamed “Hot Dogs To Go!” What started as an elementary school talent show performance went viral and landed him a slot performing at a Cincinnati Cyclones hockey game.

With his parents’ help, Harv released an official recording of “Hot Dogs To Go!” on streaming platforms, but he didn’t stop there. He’s since dropped another Chappell Roan spoof, “Cheese Coney Club” (a spin on “Pink Pony Club”), and it’s a straight-up banger. "God! What have you done / Put a dog on a bun" he sings.
