The insane reason The All-American Rejects had to cancel their Battle Creek show

After taking a decade break from 2013-24, The All-American Rejects are back and more popular than ever, throwing a legendary house party tour in 2025, opening for the Jonas Brothers on a North American stadium tour, and announcing a new album, Sandbox – their first since 2012.

Unfortunately, before the band were set to perform an early April show in Battle Creek, Michigan, that momentum took a curious hit, with Tyson Ritter and company having to cancel the show for a very unusual reason: their equipment was shipped to the wrong location.

"It’s with a heavy heart that we must reschedule the show tonight in Battle Creek, MI. Unfortunately, the company that handles all our equipment has completely boned us," The All-American Rejects shared on Facebook. "All of our instruments and gear were mistakenly shipped across the country on another band's truck to the wrong location last night, and we have literally nothing to play. It’s the last thing we would want to announce, especially after our band and crew traveled over 12 hours to get here the night before. Keep the fire lit for us, you Fire Keepers, and we will see you very, very soon."

Fortunately for fans in Calhoun County, they will still get to have their Rejects kicks later in 2026, as the bands have rescheduled their show for Saturday, November 7, giving their fans a chance to move along after their equipment company gave them hell.
