Infinite Coles, the estranged son of Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah, has announced his debut album, SweetFace Killah, out December 5 via Don’t Sleep Records.
Coles has released two singles to promote the record, “SweetFaceKillah” and “Dad & I”, both of which explore the complicated relationship between him and his estranged father.
Coles’ troubled relationship with his father went viral in 2023 when Coles shared on Instagram his on-going feud with him, calling Ghostface out for not having spoken to him in 15 years, and claiming that he is, “the full definition of a deadbeat [dad].” After Coles’ post went viral, he claimed in a follow-up post that Ghostface had blocked him.
Despite these interactions, and the subject of the songs being about his father, Coles affirms that none of the songs are diss tracks and that he holds no hate towards his father. In an interview with VIBE Magazine, speaking about “Dad & I”, Coles said, “It’s me finally telling my side of the story and how I feel about the whole situation. It’s very positive and about nothing but love. I have no hate towards my father at all.”
Further in the interview, Coles said the name 'SweetFace Killah' was derived from internet trolls who had been using it as a homophobic slur in the comment sections of his social media posts. “At some point people were in my DMs calling me all types of names and ‘SweetFace Killah’ was one of them,” he said. “I was depressed at first, but then I was like, wait — they kinda ate that. So now that’s my album name.”
