The very first Zootown Music Festival has officially announced its debut lineup. Artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Hozier, Modest Mouse, Buck Meek, and more will take to the stage in Missoula, Montana, at the Missoula Fairgrounds, on July 4 and 5.
The two-day festival's lineup includes a bit of a who's-who of modern alt-country, folk, Americana, and alternative music. Check out a video announcing the lineup below, narrated by actor J. K. Simmons, who moved to Missoual at 18 and went to University of Montana.
Produced by Always On, the festival aims to "bring a world class live music event to a vibrant city known for its exceptional culinary and craft brewery scene, historical landmarks and Indigenous roots, and easy access to natural wonders and outdoor adventures, with over 60,000 acres of wilderness just minutes from downtown."
This is the first major music festival to set foot in Missoula, and will include half-day and full-day guided excursions in the surrounding areas "in the days leading up to and after the festival."
