Hunx and His Punx – the trio of Seth Bogart, Shannon Shaw, and Erin Emslie – have announced their long-awaited fourth album, Walk Out on This World, out August 22 via Get Better Records, a queer and trans-forward label operating out of Philadelphia.

With the news comes "Alone in Hollywood on Acid", the first official single. Listen below:

The news of the new LP comes more than 2 years on from their comeback single "White Lipstick", which dropped back in August 2022. Tragically, Shaw's fiancé and close friend of the band was killed in a car accident the very same day, putting the album on hold for more than a year. Release plans were pushed back even further by the California wildfires earlier this year, which left Bogart's home in Altadena – where half of the record was written – damaged by toxic smoke and ash.
