Storied rapper Jay-Z has been doing a lot to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his career. He put the umlaut back onto the Y in Jay, he's selling a $1500 collector's edition boxset (which includes the first-ever pressing of 2017's 4:44), he performed for the public for the first time in years at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, and now he's set to release an eight-part docuseries on HBO.
The series, titled JAŸ-Z In 8, and will heavily feature an interview between Jay and Rick Rubin, who produced Jay-Z's 2003 hit "99 Problems." The interview tackles Jay-Z's vast catalog, his creative process, and the tumultuous life he's lead over the past three decades. Watch the trailer below.
