It's a shame that some dream-team performances only occur to help benefit the victims of horrific tragedies, because last night's G*VE A F*CK LA benefit for those affected by the California wildfires at the Hollywood Palladium had some big ones.

Performers included Lucy Dacus, MUNA, Rico Nasty, Courtney Barnett, St. Vincent, Perfume Genius, Phantom Planet, Kevin Morby, Waxahatchee, and Paramore firebrand Hayley Williams covering some songs acoustic with friends.

She covered Björk's "All Is Full of Love" and brought out Failure leader Ken Andrews to do that band's "Daylight." (Williams is known as a huge Failure fan.) But Hayley and MUNA's Katie Gavin also joined newly reunited Rilo Kiley members Jenny Lewis and Pierre de Reeder on RK's serenade to L.A., "Let Me Back In", a beloved fan favorite that until now hadn't been performed since 2007.

Highlights of the many other performances included Perfume Genius taking on the Radiohead rarity "4 Minute Warning" and the whole lineup of entertainers returning to the stage to sing famed The O.C. theme "California" with Phantom Planet. You can watch some of these pleasant surprises below.
