Haunt releases new single 'Soaring Through The Ages'

Trad metal warriors Haunt have released the first single taken from their upcoming new album Ignite, due out August 13 via Church Recordings. Titled "Soaring Through The Ages", the song is the first taste of new music since the band released Dreamers last March.

Check out the official video here:

Like every other Haunt album, Ignite's music was entirely written by Trevor William Church, the son of legendary bassist "Electric" Bill Church (Sammy Hagar, Montrose, Van Morrison).

"Soaring Through The Ages" features a twin guitar attack from Church and his fellow axeman Andy Lei, who also directed the last several Haunt videos, including the one above.

While album details are scarce, listeners can rest assured that Church had his hand in production. But it is unclear if the album's mix and master were handled outside of his purview.

Later in September, Church's annual music festival Frozen In Time returns for the third time to Strummer's in Fresno, California, with a killer traditional metal lineup including Haunt, Void, HellFire, and Saber, among others.

Ignite can be pre-ordered here.
