Another Grammy ceremony is behind us, and its come with several anomalies and takeaways. For the first time in three years, both Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish left empty-handed.

Eilish and Swift have won nine and 14 Grammy awards (respectively) across their careers, with Eilish having swept the "big 4" categories in 2019 when she was only 17 years old. Both stars have reached a fever pitch in commercial success for their 2024 releases, The Tortured Poets Department (which was announced at last year's ceremony) and HIT ME HARD AND SOFT.

Eilish was up for seven awards last night, while Swift was up for six, including many of the same, like Album of the Year. If Swift had won Album of the Year, she would have been the first artist to win that award five times.
