Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam are touring together for the first time, a decade after releasing their collaborative album, I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, via Glassnote in 2016. 

The 11-date run kicks off November 5 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (the shared hometown of the Walkmen frontman and Vampire Weekend co-founder), and wraps November 19 at Pacific Electric in Los Angeles. The tour follows a handful of shows the pair played in Los Angeles and New York around the album’s original release, and arrives just days ahead of its 10th anniversary. Tickets go on sale September 23 at 10am local time.             

To mark the reunion, Leithauser and Rostam also shared a new piano rendition of the I Had a Dream track “In a Black Out.” The pair reunited this summer at Power Station, formerly Avatar Studios, to film the stripped-down performance, which was directed and edited by Andy Swartz. 

Sam and Louise Sullivan and Johanna Samuels will provide support on select dates, with additional support to be announced. 

The tour comes as Rostam continues promoting his third solo album, American Stories, released via Matsor Projects. Leithauser is currently in the midst of a 16-night residency at Cafe Carlyle, his longest run at the venue, following his most recent album, This Side of the Island, co-produced with the National’s Aaron Dessner and Anna Stumpf.
