Legendary first-person shooter video game franchise Halo and its iconic soundtracks from the first three games are coming to vinyl for the first time.
Laced Records is responsible for putting these remastered soundtracks on the needle for the first time in over a decade. They have put together an LP box set that releases in April 2025, and you can pre-order it today. The full set costs $169.99, but you can buy each of the soundtracks separately for all three games.
Halo: Combat Evolved has a double LP for $38, while Halo 2 and Halo 3 are triple LPs that are $55. One should note that none of the songs from Halo 3: ODST will be featured on the Halo 3 pressing, nor will the licensed music from Halo 2 be featured – understandable, as it's just the original music from the main three games. It would have been great to hear some of those jazz tracks from ODST, though.
Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori composed the 83 tracks from the first three games that are appearing in this large box set. The music will be spread across eight heavyweight LPs. Each album will feature original sleeve artwork from concept artist Isaac Hannaford, who made pieces for Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Reach.
You can pre-order the full box set and the individual soundtracks on the Laced Records website here.
