Singer Halle Bailey was recently granted a restraining order against former partner DDG, with whom she has a child. According to legal documentation obtained by TMZ, she alleges multiple instances of abuse after they broke up in October.
In one instance, DDG came to pick up their son, Halo, and after Bailey tried to buckle him into his seat, DDG grew agitated and began to scream at her. He told her to "Get out of my car, BITCH," which made Bailey worry about leaving Halo alone with him.
An altercation then occurred, in which DDG pulled her hair and slammed her face into the steering wheel, chipping her tooth. She began to cry, which made him stop, but Bailey refused to leave her son's side until he was taken to stay with family.

In another incident, DDG allegedly entered her home without permission and took pictures of her bed, attempting to insinuate that she had been sexually active with other people.
Another time, Bailey told DDG that she was sick at home along with Halo and didn't think he should leave the house, prompting him to yell at her and smash her Ring camera. He then took her phone, and threw it out of his car, telling her to "GO GET IT BITCH." After this, she filed a police report, hoping to put a stop to his abuse.
Finally, over Mother's Day, Bailey was on vacation with Halo in St. Lucia, and she received threatening texts from DDG claiming that she was there with R&B singer Brent Faiyaz. She responded: "not with any man out here. i wouldn't do that, i have halo ... please let me enjoy my mother's day in peace. i hope you are okay and feel better soon."
In the wake of these events, the judge has granted her a domestic violence restraining order, which requires DDG to stay 100 feet away at all times. DDG is also no longer permitted to live stream about her or their child, which he frequently did in order to drum up support from fans and paint her in a bad light. He has previously claimed that she wouldn't let him see their child.
