It was a big night in the world of boxing this Saturday. Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford faced off against each other in Las Vegas on September 13th. Before punches got thrown, however, Adam Jones and Danny Carey – guitarist and drummer of Tool, respectively – played a short intro for the crowd in Allegiant Stadium.

Despite the less-than-ideal sound mix, courtesy of Netflix (which streamed the fight), Jones and Carey riffed around for a little over a minute. The non-Tool fans among you may mock the simplicity of what was played: Jones hitting a bunch of power chords in D minor, augmented by some effects, a bit of sliding, with some hard-hitting drums from Carey, and... that's about it.
