Better Lovers, formed in 2023 after the dissolving of Every Time I Die, are set to release their debut album, Highly Irresponsible, on October 25. The album's second single, "Future Myopia", is out now, and can be heard below.

According to a press release, frontman Greg Puciato (also ex-Dillinger Escape Plan) sums up the track by saying "The bass-centric part in the back half of the song is one of my favorite moments on the whole record [...] It’s been a joy writing with these guys and having so much different stuff thrown at me." Band member and producer Will Putney adds that “we’re so dialed in to exactly what we want to do, and our creative process is so in sync and natural, that we rarely hit a wall when we work on music."

The album follows last year's debut EP, God Made Me an Animal. Highly Irresponsible's debut single, "A White Horse Covered In Blood," was critically acclaimed by outlets such as Consequence and MetalSucks. Knotfest branded it "an auspicious start" that "sets the bar high for what's to come."
