Graveface Records launches 25th anniversary revival series record club

Today, Graveface Records has launched their 25th anniversary revival series record club, a year long vinyl subscription of unreleased, unissued, or otherwise vinyl-less recordings from the label's history.

The club features albums from Xiu XiuChris Crisci of Appleseed Cast, Power Pill Fist, The Casket Girls, and eight other label artists, culled here all together to celebrate the 25th anniversary.  Many titles have been long out of print, or were initially released on CD or digital only; and will feature new artwork and never before heard bonus material.

Club members get an exclusive vinyl colorway. Each jacket will be hand numbered and will have an OBI strip which features anecdotes about the album. This Club is limited to 200 subscribers, and each member will receive the same number for each LP over the 12 month cycle, assigned upon the order in which they joined. The first person to join gets 1/200, for example.

In addition, each LP will be accompanied by a unique bonus item tied to the release from an independent retail partner or artist. These items are only available by joining the Revival Series record club. Subscribers will also receive access to an exclusive podcast series featuring label owner Ryan Graveface interviewing the Series’ artists.

The first title subscribers will receive is All Lost from Monster Movie. Featuring members of Slowdive and Eternal, this is the first ever vinyl release of this album.

Of the pressing of The Magician, Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu shares,

"It is always an extraordinary delight to get to deeply explore a storied work of art. The Magician from 1926 is incredibly strange, beautiful, unnerving and profoundly innovative. it is encouraging to be darkly moved by a film made 100 years ago. Feeling connected to fellow cuckoos across space and time is an assurance that we are indeed forever connected to the pursuit of facing fundamental dread through imagination. "

The Graveface 25th Anniversary Revival Series Subscription is available at Graveface Records. See the full list of releases below.
