Grateful Dead, the quintessential jam band, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. To properly acknowledge this achievement, the band is releasing a mind-boggling box set titled Enjoying The Ride. This release is filled with more than 450 tracks and over 60 hours of music spanning across 60CDs and 6LPs. Enjoying The Ride will be available exclusively through Dead.net on May 30.

This new set spans across 25 years of performances from 1969 to 1994 at 20 legendary venues - Winterland, Frost Amphitheatre, Madison Square Garden, and Hampton Coliseum, among them.

With the exception of a few tracks, virtually every single song on this set is unreleased. Of the 20 shows in the set, 17 are presented in full, top to bottom. The remaining three performances - Fillmore West, Fillmore East, and Boston Music
Hall - are curated from multiple performances at each venue, capturing key moments.

Unreleased versions of “Scarlet Begonias,” “Touch Of Grey,” and “Fire On The Mountain,” recorded live at the Greek Theatre on July 13, 1984, are now available to listen to for the first time. You can stream these tracks on any of your preferred streaming services here.

Enjoying The Ride will be limited to 6000 copies and will have ALAC and high-res FLAC downloads available on the same day.

If 60 hours of music is too daunting for you, don't fret. Grateful Dead is also releasing an edited down companion set called The Music Never Stopped. This set has at least one track from each venue on Enjoying The Ride. This shaved down box set will feature 6LPs and 3CDs and will be available digitally.
