Geese have been thriving ever since their 2023 album 3D Country received critical acclaim. Earlier this year, the band dropped a Justin Bieber cover seemingly out of nowhere. Now, Cameron Winter, lead singer of the band, has debuted two solo tracks: "Vines" and "Take it With You."
In a juxtaposition from 3D Country, both of the new songs are melancholic ballads about relationships. "Take it With You" sees Winter crooning about being completely done with the relationship, even though the other person isn't:
Your travelling companion will be memories
You can lie awake with thoughts of simpler times
You can love me from afar if that's what puts you at ease
But you won't be on my mind
Meanwhile, "Vines" shows the turmoil of staying in a relationship that should have ended long ago. Winter broods on the final mantra:
To live, to live with my heart broken
I feel loneliest when I'm with you
I feel loneliest when I'm with you, babe
I feel loneliest when I'm with you
