How big have Geese gotten since the monolithic release of many folks' AOTY Getting Killed in September? Well, frontman Cameron Winter sold the shit out of Carnegie Hall with Benny Safdie and Paul Thomas Anderson on hand to film the concert. Then a couple weeks ago, Saturday Night Live featured a sketch called "Random Duet Christmas Spectacular" that included both a Winter impersonation and the real Ariana Grande.
So it should be no surprise that the biggest new rock band to break through in some time will be playing the SNL stage on January 24th with Teyana Taylor hosting. Their episode will be bookended by Finn Wolfhard hosting with A$AP Rocky performing on January 17th, and Alexander Skarsgård hosting with Cardi B performing on January 31st. Kind of a murderer's row there. Hope Geese do "Long Island City Here I Come", even though it's a longshot.
You can watch the sketch featuring James Austin Johnson as Cam Winter below.

The band previously performed one of their signature songs, "Taxes", on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in October, which you can also revisit below:
