Future is on a roll this year after releasing two successful collab albums with Metro Boomin - WE DON'T TRUST YOU (which ignited the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar - among others - due to the latter's feature in the track "Like That") and WE STILL DON'T TRUST YOU.
The streak isn't over, as Future has confirmed that Mixtape Pluto is "bout to drop..." as seen in the pre-save page of the mixtape.
A 45-second snippet of a music video for "Lil Demon", directed by Rick Nyce, has been posted on the rapper's Freebandz label's Instagram account. Future's flow, plus the track's production (presenting hard-hitting drums and throbbing bass) is reminiscent of his earlier output - a sound fans have been wanting him to return to for a long time.
Mixtape Pluto had been teased by Southside - who produced most of Future's 2015 album DS2 - in an interview with XXL in July, when he said "I'm working on Mixtape Pluto with Future right now". The Freebandz label founder had also raised expectations around the project with a post on Instagram a few weeks ago.
