On March 10, Drake posted to his Instagram account a carousel of photos paired with a cryptic caption where he set the ground for his "next chapter," one which "may leave you feeling uneasy."
Now, on March 11, Freddie Gibbs has reacted to the rapper's ominous message, and he hasn't taken it seriously at all.
On his burner Instagram account, @youonlydie0nce, Gibbs has reposted Drizzy's post and added three yawning emojis on top of it.

Prior to that, he published another Instagram Story that could also be directed at the Toronto-native's statement:

This isn't the first time that Gibbs has had an issue with the 6 God. He accused his recent joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, of plagiarism. This was due to the use of dollar signs as a replacement for the letter "S" in the title, similar to Gibbs's 2022 disc $oul $old $eparately.
Moreover, the back cover of $ome $exy $ongs 4 U includes cartoon rabbits, another resemblance to Gibbs's “rabbit” mascot that he has used throughout his career on many songs, as well as on the cover art of his previously mentioned LP.

Drake is rumored to headline the new FIFA World Cup Final half-time show on July 19, 2026.
