Foo Fighters announce new album and drop single "Your Favorite Toy"

Foo Fighters have officially unveiled Your Favorite Toy, the band's 12th full-length studio album, due out April 24 via Roswell Records/Columbia Records. It’s their first new music of 2026.

The news was also accompanied by a new single. "Your Favorite Toy" is the title track off the upcoming album. It blends a fresh, adventurous sound with the signature Foo Fighters grit.

Listen below:

Frontman Dave Grohl frames the track as a turning point for the record. “‘Your Favorite Toy’ really unlocked the tone and energy we were chasing for this album,” he says. “We spent over a year experimenting with different sounds and dynamics, and the day this song came together, I knew it had to lead the way. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we ended up recording. It feels fresh, like us but new.”

The band also has some dates lined up this year, beginning in June. Find all those down below.
