Flycatcher channel 90s alt-rock nostalgia on new single “Down”

Flycatcher, the New Jersey alt-rock and often 90s-inspired outfit, recently announced their new Will Yip-produced album Wrench, out October 24th via Memory Music.

Today, the band is back with a new single and video for "Down". Check out the video below:

The band says the new song is "a nod to past friends and watching them slip into their old ways."

While listening, you may have the urge to check your radio dial, because surely your car has somehow switched from your iPhone to your local 90s rock station... and you might even catch yourself glancing at a calendar or newspaper to make sure you haven’t time-traveled. No worries, this is just a band that knows how to rock out pre-Y2K style, and they’re simply waiting for Carson Daly to invite them onto TRL.

What do you think?
