FKA twigs previews new album, reportedly titled 'EUSEXUA', at New York listening party

Last night, acclaimed UK artist FKA twigs held a listening party in New York, previewing her new album to a select group of guests. The project is reportedly titled EUSEXUA.

After revealing last October that she had been hacked – with 85 demos being leaked online – and that she had to start her record from scratch, there was reason to believe we had to be very patient for a new FKA twigs album. It's seems the follow-up to 2019's critically-acclaimed Magdalene and 2022's CAPRISONGS will indeed come sooner than anticipated.

FKA twigs – aka Tahliah Barnett – first began teasing the new material in January after revealing she became inspired by the techno scene in Prague. This March, she released "Talk To Me", a collaborative track with electronic duo Two Shell, which may or may not be a primer for a more propellent, club-inspired direction for the alternative R&B singer. Listen to that track here:

Though the party was an inner circle affair, some distinguished guests were waxing lyrical in their reactions. "The whole room was pulsing with electricity and raw emotion. I love u twigs, thank u for everything u do for us,” Uncut Gems-star Julia Fox wrote via her Instagram Stories. Linux went to Twitter/X to shower even more praises:

Aside from new music on the horizon, FKA twigs has been busy acting in several high profile movies. She is set to appear in Rupert Sanders's adaptation of The Crow and also stars alongside Nicolas Cage in The Carpenter's Son. twigs also made headlines last April, when she revealed she had been developing her own deepfake called 'AI Twigs', designed to maintain fan engagement while she continued to work on new music.

“These and similar emerging technologies are highly valuable tools both artistically and commercially when under the control of the artist,” she commented.
