FKA twigs took to her social media channels earlier today to tease some upcoming music — though, true to form, she offered minimal context.
The post reveals the title "Perfectly" and features what appears to be the release’s cover art.
In a typically poetic caption, twigs writes: “if EUSEXUA was the tip of the tongue, PERFECTLY is the oesophagus.” She also shared a release date of July 16. See the cryptic post below.
The new release is most likely a single from the upcoming deluxe version of January’s Eusexua, which twigs has been referring to as Deluxua in various Instagram stories over the past few months. On July 9, a track titled "Perfectly" briefly appeared on her Spotify — seemingly by accident — before being taken down just two hours later.
All signs point to this being the official release of that song, though given twigs' unpredictable creative approach, it’s possible that "Perfectly" signals something more.
